Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using OpsDeck ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.

2. Description of the Service

OpsDeck is a software-as-a-service platform that uses artificial intelligence to transform process descriptions into structured Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Service includes SOP generation, editing, version history, PDF export, and optional Monday.com board spec generation, subject to your subscription plan.

3. Account registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription plans and billing

Free plan

The free plan includes limited SOP generations and a cap on total SOPs. Free plan features may change at any time.

Paid plans (Pro and Team)

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may be updated with 30 days' notice.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Manage Subscription page. Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and/or restrict access to paid features until the payment is resolved. We will notify you of payment issues via email.

5. Your content

You retain full ownership of all content you submit to OpsDeck, including process descriptions and generated SOPs. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your SOPs. You may export, share, and use your SOPs however you wish.

6. AI-generated content

SOPs generated by OpsDeck are produced by AI and should be reviewed before implementation. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or assumptions that do not reflect your actual processes. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and validating all generated SOPs before relying on them.

OpsDeck is not a substitute for professional legal, compliance, medical, or safety advice. Do not use AI-generated SOPs as the sole basis for decisions in regulated industries without independent professional review.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI system prompt or model weights
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks
• Create accounts programmatically or use automated tools to access the Service without permission
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep OpsDeck available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpsDeck and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. For significant changes that affect paid subscribers, we will provide reasonable advance notice.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of OpsDeck after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
